thoughts don't know what to think
the symptoms,
not quite writers block
just a thinkers drought
took a preview of my reviews
past poems I written and posted for you
but now I'm at the end of the road
that has yet to be paved
lost resources in my mind
thesaurus says, "YOU STILL HAVE TIME"
Pens with filled inks, "SAYING ME". "I'M NEXT IN LINE"
What do I do?
what do I write about?
Can't even remember my name
What's today's date?
OK..
here we go
something is going on this paper
12 midnight means, I'm past my posted date
OK...
pen in hand
applying to paper
lean in for the write
Brain is seeing nothing
mouth is saying nothing
pen writing nothing
